  • Thank you for your friendly and cheerful help with my divorce. You have helped John and I remain friends, rather than things becoming acrimonious I really appreciate all you have done.

About us

We are a law firm, formed in September 1991, owned and run by solicitors. Each of our departments is staffed by solicitors specialising in their field of law so the quality of our legal advice should be taken for granted. What makes us special is the way we focus on the most important element - our clients. A questionnaire is sent out with every closed matter, not just during marketing excercises. We regard it as vital to know whether or not our service is what client’s want. Some of our most important changes have been as a result of suggestions from clients. This eagerness to listen to criticism led to us achieve second place in the Law Firm of the Year Awards in 2000.

We do not act for corporations, only individuals. We do not do Criminal Law. Indeed, we do not try to be all things to all clients because it is dangerous to dabble. We concentrate all our resources in acting for individuals in support of their dignity, assets and family. Our expertise in mental health and capacity issues leads us to lecture and deliver talks to a variety of professional and lay groups as well as being at the cutting edge of the highly complex issues surrounding mental capacity in the Court of Protection.
