Odonnells has close ties with the local community and actively supports certain local organisations. Below are the details of the local organisations that we are currently supporting.

 

Arts Exhibition 2009

We held our first art exhibition at the Minster Church, Church Street, Preston on Saturday 26 September. The aim was to display works highlighting the creativity of those suffering with mental health difficulties so as to attack the stigma surrounding mental illness.

The Parish of Preston Arts and Education Trust (PPAET)

The Parish of Preston Arts and Education Trust (PPAET) organises concerts at various venues in Preston. You can visit the website for the PPAET at the address below to find out more information about who they are and what they do.

eMpowerMe helps to give a voice to those unable to speak independently for themselves

 

Central Advocay

Central Advocacy started its life under the umbrella of Preston Council for Voluntary Services in 1995. In 1999 Central Advocacy became a registered charity (No. 1075443) and has been serving the people of Preston ever since.

Central Advocacy initially only provided a generic service but has since expanded to include specialist services: which at present are Mental Health and IMCA (Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy).

 

St Vincent de Paul Society

The St Vincent de Paul Society (“SVP”) is a voluntary organisation, supporting those who are in need.
